Green glazed decorative bowl.
This bowl is coiled using a buff  stoneware clay and carved with a looped wire modelling tool to give a ‘fishscale’ surface and finished with a green glaze. The top section is unglazed to show off the textural quality of the clay and to contrast the glossy glaze.
Approx.size: 8cm diameter x 5cm high

"This range of pots is loosely inspired by the shape of grain silos located on a farm near my home. 
Taking the initial image and turning it upside down, I then developed a range of pots which organically change shape as I build – I don’t have an exact shape in my mind when I start each piece".
