Below is a selection of pieces made in the last 12 months.
The dishes below take on the form of an 'asymmetric' flower designs. These are concentric bowls which stack inside each other. I like making multiple pieces that fit together as a set and exploring how this affects the form of the pot and the overall aesthetics of each piece.
My most recent pieces are a range of slab built stoneware jars in a square design with feet to lift the form. The texture and pattern is influenced by weathered and eroded rock. This influence has been used to create a repeat pattern design of small impressed dots. I'm also playing around with the idea of joining multiple jars to create a new structure.
